Traditional rites and usages
The Roman Rite is not the only ancient rite of the Latin Church.
Most of what is listed on this site is the Roman Rite in the form of the 1962 Missal. A number of other ancient Latin rites and usages survive and are still celebrated: the Ambrosian in Milan, the Mozarabic in Toledo, and the Dominican, Carmelite, Carthusian, and Norbertine usages within their orders.
Where a location celebrates one of these, its listing says so. We do not fold them into the Roman Rite, because they are not it.
