What this site is

Ad Orientem (https://adorientem.church) is a directory, news publication, and creator hub serving the Traditional Latin Mass community. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Accuracy of Mass times and listings

Confirm any Mass time or location directly with the parish, chaplaincy, or institute before traveling. Schedules change, sometimes without notice, and this site aggregates information from official sources, community submissions, and third-party directories that vary in how current and accurate they are. Every listing is labeled with its verification status and, where known, its source — see verification standards for what each label means. A label of anything short of “officially verified” means exactly what it says: we have not confirmed it ourselves.

We are not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or expense arising from a schedule, address, or other detail on this site being incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. If you find an error, please use the correction link on the listing — it helps everyone who looks next.

Editorial content

News, analysis, and Voices content reflect the editorial standards and creator ranking criteria published at editorial standards. Opinions belong to their authors. We correct errors publicly rather than quietly editing them away — see the corrections page.

Accounts

Some features — saving locations, subscribing to alerts, claiming a creator profile, running an advertising campaign, or administering a location or community — require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend an account used to submit false information, abuse the correction or reporting flows, or attempt to influence verification or editorial decisions improperly.

User submissions

Anything you submit — a correction, a new listing, a community readiness report, a comment on a draft, a creative for an advertising campaign — may be reviewed, edited for accuracy, or declined before publication. Submitting something does not entitle you to have it published. You confirm that what you submit is accurate to your knowledge and that you have the right to share it.

What we do not do

• We do not publish ratings or rankings of priests, parishes, or individual celebrations of the Mass.
• We do not allow an advertiser or sponsor to influence editorial content, verification status, or canonical information about a location.
• We do not expose the identity of individual participants in a community-formation group; only aggregate figures are ever made public — see the Privacy Policy.

Advertising and sponsorship

Advertising is self-service, subject to review, and always labeled as sponsored content. Advertising a product or organization on this site is not an endorsement of it by Ad Orientem, and payment never changes a location’s verification status or an article’s content.

Intellectual property

Site design, original photography, and original editorial content belong to Ad Orientem or its licensors. Structured directory data (locations, schedules) may be reused with attribution back to this site and to the original source cited on the listing. Please do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others — ask us about a data feed instead.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Material changes will be dated here and, where practical, noted in The Ad Orientem Report.
